Coral Faux Suede Hand Painted Floral Jacket

When I stumbled across this coral suede jacket at the beginning of last year I was itching to paint it when a styled shoot proposition landed in my inbox that I knew it would be PERFECT for.

Nice Neighbourhood, just on the edge of Sheffield’s town centre, is a total hidden gem of exposed brick, colour blocked walls and is a total plant paradise (not to mention has a roof terrace and amazing cocktail menu!) It’s not only perfect to pop into for a cuppa but also has enough space – and character – to host weddings. Enter dream team of wedding suppliers, and what a team it was! If you’re looking for inspiration for your Sheffield city centre wedding, then look no further.

Usually, if I have to work on a Sunday it’s met with a grumpy face. But this particular Sunday was such a pleasure, it hardly felt like work hanging out with lovely people all morning with coffee, and we even got to eat one of the two delicious Snowdrop Cakery cakes at the end!

We used the colour palette of the Nice Neighbourhood interior to inspire us, and T from Campbells Flowers and I worked together to bring a whole heap of foliage, in bouquet form for her and painted jacket and stationery form for me. Inner City Weddings scaffold tables and industrial chairs perfectly complimented the space, and as the wonderful women there were having some team photos done afterwards, we had the pleasure of the whole gang with us! We had the beautiful Izzy modelling a Shikoba Bride dress from The White Yard, along with a hand painted suede jacket by yours truly, and Laura from Craft Make up on the hair and make up.
